Waterkloof Rotary Club: Governor’s Visit
IW members Ann, Yolanda, Annekie and Sylvia attended the Governor’s visit meeting at which a stationery-drive was held in support of a pre-school in Salvakop, Pretoria.
Starfish Babies
A donation of items such as jerseys, shoes, toys and stationery were given to Starfish Babies which they were very happy to receive. At the meeting, a few of the foster moms present shared their experience which gave us a fresh perspective to foster care. A lovely morning was had by all.
Donations to charities in Pretoria
Blankets, clothes, shoes and teddies were donated to various places of safety and gift boxes for the elderly. Many thanks to Dr Lötter, as well as Vlytige Vingers Ladies for your kind contribution
Waterkloof Annual Christmas Event
Members and friends of Inner Wheel Waterkloof got together in celebration of our annual Christmas breakfast. It was a lovely morning of fellowship.

IW Club Waterkloof was invited to attend Bedfordview’s Christmas Party. It was a joyous occasion with wonderful fellowship. Thank you Bedfordview!
Dolls for Alzheimer Patients
One of our on-going projects called “Dolls for Alzheimer Patients” is one that is very close to our hearts. The ladies are on a mission to collect dolls. We will wash and clean her, dress her and wrap her in a comfy blanket, ready for presentation to a suitable Alzheimer patient.
Over the last few years, we have donated dolls to various assisted-living centres that specialise in Dementia and Frail Care. We hope to collect as many dolls possible – dolls just waiting for cuddles.
